We’re into the second half of the 2024-25 La Liga season, and it’s shaping up to be an electrifying battle, with top talents competing for the prestigious Pichichi Trophy.
The 2024-25 La Liga season runs from August 15, 2024, through the end of May 2025. For those unaware, the Pichichi Trophy is La Liga’s Golden Boot, given to the player with the most goals each season. Last season, Artem Dovbyk won the award, scoring 24 times as Girona secured a top four finish.
As the competition heats up, all eyes are on familiar faces like Robert Lewandowski, Vinícius Jr, and Jude Bellingham. Lewandowski, after two strong seasons with Barcelona, is expected to continue dominating the scoring charts, using his experience and clinical finishing to lead his team’s attack. Meanwhile, Real Madrid completed the signing of Kylian Mbappé in July after the French star left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract. The 2018 World Cup winner has quickly emerged as one of the favorites to finish the season as La Liga’s top scorer.
