Napoli Offers Victor Osimhen To Manchester United In Possible Swap Deal

Napoli has given Manchester United a chance to sign Victor Osimhen in January. The Italian team is open to trading players. The 25-year-old striker, who is currently loaned to Galatasaray, has scored nine goals in 11 games this season. However, his time in Turkey may end soon as Napoli wants to make his stay permanent.

Several Premier League teams are interested in Osimhen. Manchester United is a strong candidate. Sources say that United’s football team, led by Joe Wilcox, is looking into this opportunity.

Manager Ruben Amorim needs a reliable striker. Players like Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Højlund, and Joshua Zirkzee have not been consistent enough.

Manchester United has been contacted about signing Osimhen, but money issues make the deal tricky. Napoli wants £60 million for the striker, which United cannot pay right now.

MONEY ISSUES AND POSSIBLE PLAYER TRADES

Another problem is the club’s salary limits. Rashford, Højlund, and Zirkzee together earn over £500,000 a week, and adding Osimhen’s expected £200,000 salary could hurt the club’s finances.

To solve this, Napoli is open to a player swap. They are interested in three Manchester United forwards:

1. Rasmus Højlund –

The Danish player did well at Atalanta, making him a good option for Napoli.

2. Joshua Zirkzee

The Dutch striker scored 12 goals in Serie A last season. Though he joined United last summer, he is now linked with Napoli and Juventus, but his chances to play are unclear.

3. Marcus Rashford –

The English player is also available for transfer and is valued by Napoli for his skills and experience.

OTHER CLUBS WANT OSIMHEN TOO

Manchester United is not the only team interested in Osimhen. Arsenal and Aston Villa have also been offered the chance to sign him. Napoli is open to taking Jhon Durán from Aston Villa as part of a deal.

Chelsea, which has liked Osimhen for a while, talked about signing him over the summer but decided not to pursue it. With Nicolas Jackson doing well, Chelsea no longer urgently needs a new striker.

Victor Osimhen’s possible move in January could change things in the Premier League. Napoli’s willingness to trade players makes the deal interesting for teams like Manchester United, which face financial and team challenges. Whether through a direct transfer or a swap, where Osimhen goes next will likely affect European football.
