The hosts returned to winning ways after five games last week, recording a 1-0 home triumph over Oud-Heverlee Leuven in the Belgian Pro League, thanks to a first-half goal from Gustaf Nilsson.
Club Brugge last qualified for the knockout round of the competition in the 2022-23 campaign while Atalanta’s last appearance in the round of 16 was in 2020-21.
